Coachella Valley H.S. :Life Skills Expo, C.V.H.S. Spring 2017 Over 100 students attended our Springs Expo. Students assembled in the multi-purpose room where they enjoyed pizza and ice cream donated by Wal-Mart and Ben and Jerry's. While they were enjoying the food Michael Harrington gave a key note address. Followed by an award to three top academic students.  The award was a scholarship for college expenses donated by our non profit. Next the students went to assigned classrooms where we had six (6) break-out sessions each on a separate "life skill".

December 9, 2016 Thermal, CA 8:00am-10:00am Special Guest Speaker KESQ Reporter shares her personal story with the students at CVHS. 

November 9, 2016 Thermal, CA Our speakers will encourage youth to obtain their career goals, attend college; we will emphasize overcoming the stigma of gangs and inspire youth to beat the odds. Speakers: Gloria came out of poverty, graduated Desert Mirage and is working on her second college degree. Michael will explain how gangs exist in all communities and among all ethnic origins, not only Hispanic.   

October 28,2016 Thermal, CA Inspirational Speaker, hear Jordan's story, her rise from poverty in Alabama, from abroken home, refusing to be a "statistic" and with the support of a teacher "who believed in her" she became her High School's Valedictorian and now an international teacher/child aid worker.
